Another Project Off My List!

I have been saving invitations that I have received over the years from one of my closest friends, whom I refer to in my blog as the Invitation Maker. I have been thinking about how to display them...you know out of a drawer and somewhere I could enjoy them.

I decided to tie together fabric strips from leftover projects and swag it across the window in my crafting room.

The window is right above my sewing machine and in front of the table I craft at. I have a perfect view of the invitations!

Maybe tomorrow a peek at the crafting room!!

  1. that is just lovely. A banner of friendly sentiments. I keep all my cards too. Most are just too lovely to throw out. I have them blutacked onto the front of some melamine cupboards so i can see them all the time. In my sewing room of course. Great work, and thanks for sharing.

  3. What a great idea! It's a compliment to your invitation making friend too, you're a saver who recognizes how much work went into making those invites!

  4. What a lovely idea. It brightens up the window and you can reminisce about all the happy times you've spent with your friend while you're sewing away.
