Last year I visited daughter number 2 who lives in Seattle and I saw this ottoman....not too fond of the leather belt things on top...but I thought...I could make a slipcover for my favorite ottoman
that has a crack on the top
I use the ottoman in my master bedroom sitting area with my chair
I took a charm pack of aqua fabrics I had on hand and stitched them together....
I will add a border or two so it covers the ottoman completely, and add elastic to it so I can slip it over the ottoman.
Stay tuned...the final result this weekend!

You clever girl, you! That looks great with the aqua chair and much prettier than the old version with 100,000 miles on it! Good thinkin, Lincoln!

How intriguing. I have a hassock that needs help. I'll be pondering whether this is a good solution for me, too.
