I have finally gotten around to changing the Peep wreath that was on the front door of the Xavier Ct. House.
I really liked the Peep wreath and wanted to leave it up for the 5 daughters to see when they came home two weekends ago. And then the rest of the week just got away from me!
I needed something quick and easy...and.....of course not too expensive. I looked through my stuff in the garage and found a little metal basket type thing with a handle on it that I had picked up at the Goodwill quite awhile ago for a $1.00...
I added some Rosemary and Lavender from the yard and a couple of seed packs tucked in...tied up with a fabric strip
And.....
The change is complete!
Love it!! Such a creative idea!! Have a great night! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea - very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWELL the Peep Wreath WAS adorable but this is fantastic!! I am pinning this -- I love how you attached the seed packet with the clothespin and just the fact that you gathered all of these things from what you already had and created this beautiful door piece.
ReplyDeleteMy dear and precious friend Chris I have been up early this morning fasting and praying for many on this National Day of Prayer.
ReplyDeleteI have prayed for you and yours and will continue to do so throughout the day.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Both arrangements are lovely! Thanks for entering my give-away! Good luck!!

I love using found items! No cost, just the reward of justifying my purchase, I like to see how many ways I can use one GW piece; it's a personal challenge kind of thing. But before I go, how many calories do you 'spose are in that wreath? I like my Peeps dried and chewy! Hee hee!

Well that is just darling! I love the Peeps wreath too.
ReplyDeleteA lovely new door arrangement indeed! Very cleverly done! Of course, I hate to see those adorable Peeps go! Speaking of which, how did you attach them - glue gun?

That is adorable! Okay, I'm here and looking all around without receiving any warning. I may be getting my own backgrounds back asap. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteToothpicks! Thanks! What was I thinking - glue gun on Peeps? LOL I use them quite a bit but usually wrap them due to our humid climate. This is so cute that I might just have to try it, though. xo Jane
