The curtain panels always seemed to be in the way.... I couldn't seem to find the right place to store them. I finally decided that I would make seat back covers for the chairs in my craft/sewing room. The chairs don't match and I don't mind that they don't match. But... making the seat back covers adds a little character to them. A simple project...measure the backs of the chairs, cut the fabric, and sew away.
I have three chairs in the craft/sewing room....one for the sewing table, one for the work table, and an extra one just in case. Plenty of chairs for friends...
Wanna Come Over???

ReplyDeleteHi, Chris!!!
ReplyDeleteNew follower, here!!!
I love your blog! So many great ideas!!!
I want to come over and sew!!! I have been saying I am going to "break" the machine anytime soon, but have been busy trying other projects!
I also bought some nice fabric for cheap at garage sales.
I have so much to learn!!! Cheers,
I'm crazy about barkcloth....I just wish it wasn't so expensive! You did a really fabulous job on those chairs!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun to see other people's craft rooms! Great job on the chair covers - of course, we want to come over & play!
ReplyDeleteNow here's a question for you -- is it just me, or are there really no knobs/handles on the red chest of drawers? It's such a cheery color, so I was really looking at that picture and just wondered. xoxo Jane
