It's almost that time of year again at the Xavier Ct. House......


Cherry pick'n time!!


Santa Clara Valley is known for growing cherries!

Can't wait until they are bright red and ripe for pick'n!

  9. Have you ever had Cherry Gazpacho cold soup? Super delicious. I don't have a recipe but ate it while in Barcelona Spain. Cherries are such a special treat. Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting.

    Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope that chair is being loved now.

    My DMIL had a cherry tree. I only canned cherries from it one year, though. She is in assisted living now and has her home rented out. Since I know the renters, I should see when the cherries are ready, if I can picked them or if they will. I doult they will. I do hate to pit them, though!!

  13. They look scrumptious! I planted a small cherry tree on my allotment this year so I'm hoping for a few cherries if the pigeons don't get to them first! I've been advised to put a net over before they ripen.
