Girl's Sunday Fun!!

Yesterday a close friend and I went to the Willow Glen Lifestyles Home Tour. Willow Glen is neighborhood in San Jose, California. The annual tour is a benefit for the San Jose Day Nursery, a 96 year-old nonprofit group that provides childcare to low-income families.

The tour included visiting 6 homes and for an extra $13.00 you could order a box lunch. We did of course, and enjoyed our lunch in the garden of the 6th home.

I was only able to take pictures outside, and even then had to be a little sneaky...no photo, and no camera signs were posted all over!

aren't the roses lovely
love the red brick walkway
this rabbit sculpture was made by the homeowner

two of my favorite backyards

this is the back door of one of the houses.. I love the urns!

I always come home with ideas for the Xavier Ct. House after touring houses. Going on house tours, is one of my favorite things to do!! I will share more photos tomorrow.

  6. I've never heard of this tour before and I'm so glad you posted about it. My mom lived there many years ago and this would be a really fun day trip for her. I will keep my eyes open next year so we can attend. Thanks Chris!
