Don't You Just Love .......

the last day of an estate sale?

I have had a little mantra that I have been saying to myself the past few weeks.....that I did not need to bring anything else into the house, and I didn't need to spend any money.

Well, that thought went out the window when I saw the estate sale sign. I couldn't help myself...it's like the car had a mind of it's own. You all know the feeling.
The first thing the gentleman watching the door said to me when I walked in was all prices negotiable....

Music to my ears!!!

Not too much left, but I did manage to find a few things that I couldn't live without.

A vintage nursery planter, not marked...it will look great holding pens and pencils on my desk
Originally, $15.00! Sunday price....$1.00
A little choir girl
Who could pass up those long lashes, and rosey checks?
Originally $20.00 Sunday price....$2.00
An ottoman..once recovered perfect for the living room
Would you have ever paid $40.00 for this? Never!
Sunday price....$8.00

Well, so much for my mantra!

  2. Fun finds! That little vintage baby planter will always make you smile! A little upholstery project on the ottoman? welt cord is easy to do and will dress that right up if you do it yourself.
