Changing it up!

Growing up I heard my folks say how fast the time goes.....and boy were they right!!

Can you believe Halloween is over?

I will spend the weekend changing the front porch of the Xavier Ct House from Halloween

to Thanksgiving!!

At least I can still use the pumpkins!!

How are you changing it up?

Happy Thursday!!

  4. The front porch will be Christmas before the weekend is over!! I love Thanksgiving, but I decorate the house for Christmas so my grandchildren can enjoy it when they come down from Idaho. Plus...I love to annoy the neighbors! =D

  5. Can't wait to see more pics. It's going to take me weeks to put away all our Halloween decorations. I'm dreading it. The parties are fun, but the packing up...not so much.

    Happy November!

  7. I don't have a lot of Halloween, but boy do I have Fall decorations! I went to Wal-Mart yesterday because they have great bags of fall gourds and the smaller pumpkins. The bags were marked down to 98 cents a bag of 5! And three of the pie making pumpkins cost me 1.98!!!! I don't know why they get rid of these as they are Autumn decoration, not Halloween....but they are, so if you want some everyone...get to Wal-Mart! GREAT selection!

  12. Hi Chris, I have so enjoyed getting to know you through your blog and have especially enjoyed your beautiful sewn projects. I have made you a button keeper I would love to send you. It's a Love Bug Button Keeper for February; but just like your pumpkins doing double month duty, I think you will be able to use it with Christmas red and green. If I could please have your address, I will post it to you towards the end of next week. Elizabeth (elizabeth.andrus@yahoo.com)

  13. What? I haven't commented here yet? I've been by to visit so much, but I bet I get distracted before I can leave a comment. So obviously I haven't mentioned how much I love your goose with the bonnet! Too cute! Looking forward to seeing what you'll be doing for November!

  15. Just put my Halloween things away today! Like you I have some that stay for Fall & Thanksgiving. I really like your painted gourd - have some painted as turkeys that I just put out this morning. Your goose looks so good with your fantastic witch hat! Cute wreath too :)
