Old MacDonald Had A Farm!

And on Sunday mornings Mr. Math and I visit the farm...we are up and out by 7 am.......

We get breakfast at our favorite pancake house and then we head to.....

the farm.....

Old MacDonald's Farm!

It's a local farmers market...it is located in a converted McDonald's restaurant!

Pretty clever!

We pick up the produce for the week at Old MacDonald's.

Asparagus, avocados and ripe tomatoes!

Love the colors of the Bell Peppers!

This display makes me think of the tropics!!

I have never thought of myself as a creature of habit....someone that does exactly the same thing, on the same day, almost at the same time, but I am! Mr. Math and I joke it's like the movie Ground Hog day! I love our Sunday routine......The last eight weeks I've done a lot of traveling.......and I find that I miss my Sunday mornings with Mr. Math.

Do you have any routines that you have grown to love?

  1. What a gorgeous market! All that beautiful and yummy looking produce. I think routines like yours are comforting. Mine is my morning coffee on the porch, watching the birds. Comforting! :) Pam

  2. How great is this?! Being so new to the DC area, I haven't found a good farmer's market (yet!).

  4. I love boring old routines with the hubs! :)

Every weekend, we eat ice cream and watch something.

Your routine sounds a lot healthier! :)

  6. What a fun market. Josie would love that kind of market. Grocery shopping isn't her favorite thing as a 7 year old. I think she might like this market much better.

  7. A converted McDonald's? I LOVE it! Hubs and I used to have some routines, but since Baby Bee came along 12 years ago, we don't do them anymore. Something to look forward to when she flees the hive. I've got to ask....what city is it in? Worker Bee will get a kick out of it. Might be one he used to go to when he was in high school.
