A Spoolie Swap!!!!

I am a bit late in sharing the Spoolies that I sent to Sandie who blogs at Retro Sandie.

Better late than never right??

I thought my first felt project on spools qualified as a decorated Spoolie, so I included the little guy in the things I sent Sandie.

For the base I used a vintage spool of ribbon, a small wooden spool and a large spool of thread. I added cake picks, lace, wooden eggs and a teeny tiny chenille chick!

For this Spoolie I used a vintage tart tin, and decorated the spools with bias tape. A little more lace, some wooden Easter eggs, topped off with a little bunny and this one was done!

I had to include some Ghirardelli Chocolates made in San Francisco, and a few little extras, stored in an Easter tin.

Who would have thought? Decorated Spoolies??

There sure are some great thinkers in blogland!
