Yabba Dabba Do!!!

Tammy who blogs at Tammy's in Love sent an email a few weeks ago, letting me know that she was hosting a swap.  A Vintage Cartoon Tag Swap..... I thought about it  and sent an email back explaining to Tammy that I just couldn't join this time....I had too much going on.

Then I started thinking about what was my favorite cartoon.....and then I started looking for images of my favorite cartoon.  And then I found it!  The perfect image!!! Sooooo, I emailed Tammy back and said count me in!

Today was the day I mailed them...................

What could be more fun than sitting at the beach with your best friend? An umbrella, a little SP15 and Wilma and Betty are set!!

I was 3 when the Flintstones debuted and 9 when the show ended.  The Flintstones were a Prime Time cartoon show....cartoons in the evening? What a treat! I had a Pebbles doll that I loved and I took her everywhere with me.

So it only made sense that when I needed a to create a tag that featured my favorite cartoon, I choose Wilma and Betty at the Beach!!

  8. Those tags are so fun! Isn't it odd sometimes how some projects that seem simple can really take the time and then there are those projects, like these for you, that nearly make themselves--all the pieces just fall into place. I love when that happens. Thanks for following my blog, I'm going to do the same to you!

  14. Oh Worker Bee is a huge Flintstones fan! I think he can sing the entire theme song. And I learned something new - I didn't know the Flintstones were a prime time show! I think my favorite would have to be Scooby Doo. What a fun swap. Can't wait to see what you bring back.

Oh and btw, your Christmas stockings are adorable. What a sweet and thoughtful gift.

  15. These tags are ADORABLE! I love them! I remember watching the Flintstones, on Friday nights, as a kid. My siblings and I looked forward to watching every week. I'm in Tammy's swap too. Can't wait to see all of them "in person".

  16. Oh my goodness, these are ADORABLE!!! Takes me back too, and they would be so perfect to share with my cousin. She lives in California and I live in Miami. Just this morning we were chatting about how we'd love to sit under an umbrella at the beach one day.
    Loved this.
