The little Scottie Dog I was hoping to find at Boxwoods Home in Atlanta, wasn't there.... as we all know, if you see something you like you need to buy it the first time around.
My daughter and I had about two hours before the next feeding, so we decided to use the time wisely....
Thrifting here we come!!
Meg had picked out an antique store and a thrift shop for us to visit.
The first one we visited was Kudzu's Famous Home Stores.
The lawn furniture was amazing. No bargains on the prices, but still fun to look at.
Kudzu's Famous Home Store is an antique mall. With over a hundred dealers, and 25,000 square feet of space, you can just imagine the choices!
It always amazes me when clothing from the 70's and 80's, is considered vintage! What does that make me?
The next place we went to was called...
My Favorite Place is definitely a thrift shop! 8ft folding tables line the sidewalk in front of the shop....and inside, as my mom used to say, stuffed to the gills!
I made one purchase at My Favorite Place....
This Monopoly Game doesn't have all the pieces....no houses or hotels, and some of the cards are missing....still, the cards will be great for tags, and for little extra gifts tucked into packages.
I was happy to bring it home for $3.50!
After spending almost three weeks in Atlanta, with my daughter, son-in-law and new granddaughter, this Nana is heading home.
I have several projects to finish, the first of which is my friendship tags. Thanks so much to my blog pals who have been waiting patiently!

Oh wow! That box is the one my Mom had from her childhood, it had wooden houses and hotels. FUN FIND and I think that would be My Favorite Place too.
