Somewhere along the way I found these two biscuit tins....I'm not sure where she got them. The first one celebrates Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1953.
This biscuit tin celebrates the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977.
I wonder what kind of souvenirs biscuit tins they have for her Diamond Jubilee..

What beautiful tins!! How fun to see her when she was younger!! So pretty!! I am sure there are so fun tins to celebrate this Jubilee! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteHow cool are these?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't you love to have a whole set...including the 50 year and the Diamond Jubilee? =D
ReplyDeleteOh, Chris, those are great! Wonder what other goodies you'll find in those boxes?
ReplyDeleteI think you can get them for this Jubilee too - saw an ad from World Market, but haven't gone there yet. Hope they still have some! I don't need one, but would like one :)
I think it's just amazing how Queen Elizabeth keeps going and going - of course she has plenty of "staff' and money, but, still, no retirement, no chance to sleep late, hang out in pjs .... Her mother was over 100 when she died, and I think her grandmother lived about that long too, so maybe she'll have still another Jubilee!God Bless the Queen!
